CoD: Black Ops 6 Update Addresses Zombie Alteration
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Update Reverses Controversial Zombies Change
Treyarch has addressed player concerns regarding recent changes to Black Ops 6's Zombies mode, specifically the Directed Mode spawn delay. Following negative feedback, the January 9th update reverted the controversial alteration that extended the time between rounds and zombie spawns after five looped rounds on round 15. This change, initially implemented on January 3rd, hampered kill farming and camo challenge completion.
The update also includes several improvements:
-
Citadelle des Morts Fixes: Numerous bug fixes were applied to the Citadelle des Morts map within Directed Mode, addressing issues with quest progression, guidance inaccuracies, and visual glitches. A crash bug related to the Void Sheath Augment and Aether Shroud was also resolved.
-
Shadow Rift Buff: The Shadow Rift Ammo Mod received significant buffs, increasing activation rates for normal, special, and elite enemies (the latter with the Big Game Augment equipped). Its cooldown timer was also reduced by 25%.
-
Additional Fixes: General improvements were made across the game, including fixes for visual issues in the Events tab, missing audio for event milestones, and stability enhancements in both Multiplayer and Zombies modes. The "Joyride" Operator Skin for Maya is now correctly visible at distances beyond 70 meters.
Looking Ahead:
More bug fixes and adjustments are slated for the Black Ops 6 Season 2 update, launching January 28th. This includes addressing remaining issues such as the Vermin double-attack bug. Until then, players can still work towards completing the Citadelle des Morts main quest before Season 1 Reloaded concludes.
