This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before embarking on their holiday, the project lead, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, shared exciting updates about the features that fans have been eagerly requesting for the game. Let's dive into what's coming to InZOI and how these features will be implemented.

One of the most anticipated features in InZOI is the ability to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature was already highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, but Kjun emphasized their goal to streamline the zoi creation process even further, making it more accessible for all players.

For animal lovers, including Kjun himself, the good news is that players will eventually be able to have their own pets within the game. However, this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to exercise a bit of patience before they can bring their furry friends into the world of InZOI.

In terms of the game's environment, InZOI will feature tall buildings, but they will be capped at 30 floors. While the game engine theoretically supports higher constructions, this limitation is set to mitigate potential performance issues, ensuring a smoother gaming experience for everyone.

Adding an element of excitement and realism, the game will include gas stations and fights. Kjun noted that the initial slap mechanic felt too shallow for players. Taking their feedback into account, the team has decided to introduce full-fledged fights, complete with winners and losers, to enhance the gameplay dynamics.

Recognizing that InZOI may attract many newcomers to the genre, the developers have planned to include a comprehensive tutorial. This thoughtful addition is designed to help new players get started and fully enjoy the game, and it certainly deserves praise for its consideration.

As of now, Krafton is on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently expected. The anticipation is building, and players can look forward to diving into the world of InZOI with these exciting new features.
