Sunborn's Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, features gacha mechanics. A common question among players is whether the pity system carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium?

Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium will transfer to the next limited-time banner.

For instance, during the global launch, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners shared a pity counter. Pulling on either banner increased the counter for both. If you were close to pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to the Ullrid banner and have a 50/50 chance of obtaining Ullrid immediately. This shared pity applies to future limited banners, as confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. The accumulated pity on banners like Suomi and Ullrid will transfer to subsequent limited banners.

However, this pity system does not extend between limited and standard banners. You can't manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner until near pity and then switching to a limited banner for a guaranteed rate-up character.

It's important to note the pity mechanics: hard pity is at 80 pulls, but soft pity begins around 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances gradually improve until hard pity is reached at 80 pulls.

This clarifies the pity system in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
