Marvel Contest of Champions: Dark Phoenix Saga, New Champions, and a Champion Rework Vote!

Kabam is unleashing a wave of updates for Marvel Contest of Champions, starting with the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing powerful new Champions, and a revolutionary new Champion type: Eidols. This month also spotlights the game's incredible female Champions, giving players a voice in shaping a 2025 Champion rework.

Jean Grey and Bastion join the fray, bringing their unique abilities and a compelling new narrative to The Contest. Jean Grey enters the battle on March 13th, followed by Bastion on the 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga ignites on March 3rd, challenging Jean Grey and the X-Men against formidable foes in a thrilling new quest.

Expanding the game's lore, more Eidols are joining the Founders storyline. Following Isophyne's December 2024 debut, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a unique acquisition method. Lumatrix, the next Eidol, arrives on March 5th and will be available until June 4th.

Lumatrix, a master infiltrator created by The Founders, possesses unparalleled skills in espionage, sabotage, and assassination. Composed of ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix commands extraordinary light manipulation powers. While seemingly dazzling, this Eidol is a ruthless weapon designed for covert operations and eliminating enemies undetected.

March also celebrates the powerful women of The Contest. Kabam has teamed up with seven female developers and content creators, each representing a different Champion. Players can vote on which Champion will receive a 2025 rework by completing Solo Objectives and Realm Events.
