Metro Quester: Osaka Opens Android Pre-Reg

Back in April, KEMCO launched Metro Quester, their dungeon-crawling hack-and-slash RPG. Now they're preparing to release its highly anticipated sequel - Metro Quester | Osaka. As the title suggests, the apocalyptic action moves from Tokyo to Japan's vibrant port city.
Embark on a New Desperate Adventure
The game transports players to Osaka, famously known as Japan's "city of water," now transformed into a treacherous urban maze. Explore crumbling walls, monster-infested nests, secret vaults, and hidden food stores as you navigate this dystopian landscape. Survival depends on scavenging Purification Fuel while managing your dwindling food supplies.
Deep Character Customization
Metro Quester | Osaka features an expansive roster of 32 unique characters across 8 distinctive classes:
- Detonator
- Buddhist
- Professor
- Stealer
- Scientist
- Mobile Police
- Officer
- Ranger
Innovative Combat System
The battle mechanics break from traditional turn-based formulas. Players can chain up to three actions per turn using Action Points, but beware - enemies possess equal capabilities. Strategic management of your Hate value becomes crucial, determining enemy targeting priorities.
Advanced Gear Mechanics
Outside combat, players can scour the environment for enemy-dropped equipment or concealed vault treasures. Acquired gear presents multiple options: upgrading for enhanced performance, modifying for special effects, or dismantling for crafting materials.
A Bestiary of Horrors
The game introduces terrifying new creatures including:
- Beyond Inedible
- Bloodsucker Bat
- Viral Towering Roundleaf
- Thorn Comber
- Outburst Shroom
- Abnormal Antlion
- Caustic Flesh Wall
- Scavenger Mawshroom
Exciting New Features
The sequel introduces major gameplay enhancements:
- Navigate waterways using canoes
- Encounter new factions of questers
- Explore pre-apocalyptic Osaka through special maps
- Customize starting party compositions
- Extend replayability with NEW GAME+ mode
The game supports English and Japanese language options, though controller compatibility remains unavailable.
Pre-registration is now live on the Google Play Store ahead of the July 31, 2025 launch.
