With this system, learners can easily and securely clock in using their mobile devices. The process is fully automated and operates in real time, allowing both students and administrators to track attendance accurately, including exact timestamps and current status of each check-in.

Privacy and user control are key features of the app. As outlined by the Guarantor, geolocation data is only accessed at the moment the learner voluntarily checks in. Immediately after the location is recorded, GPS functionality is disabled to ensure no unnecessary tracking occurs. Additionally, users have full visibility and control over their geolocation settings, with the ability to verify whether location services are active either within the app or via device settings.

When the TFA Registry app is not in use, it does not monitor or store any movement or personal data. Furthermore, all data stored on the learner’s device—whether the app is actively being used or not—remains private and will not be shared, processed, or transmitted without explicit user consent.
