With Elden Ring Nightreign's launch just days away, developers at FromSoftware confirm they are "constantly tweaking and balancing the game." In a May 27 interview with GamesRadar+, Director Junya Ishizaki shared his mix of excitement and nerves as the release date nears.

Despite the anxiety, his confidence stems from the team's relentless efforts to enhance the game. Ishizaki elaborated, "We strive to make adjustments until the absolute last minute. Our focus is on meticulous fine-tuning, extracting the maximum potential from every play session. We aim for players to feel satisfied and at ease each time they play, so we're dedicated to perfecting that comfort and feel until the very end."

While FromSoftware is renowned for its single-player Souls titles, it also has multiplayer experience from the Dark Souls and Armored Core series. However, Nightreign represents their most co-op-centric project to date, making ongoing adjustments and balance crucial for its success and enjoyment.

Bandai Namco US announced via Twitter (X) on May 28 an upcoming livestream event titled "The Night Hunt." The event will pit eight teams of three players against each other across three battle rounds.
