Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5: Leaks Suggest Permanent Bangboo Dress-Up Mode

New leaks suggest a permanent dress-up game mode is coming to Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) in Version 1.5, launching January 22nd. This mode, initially introduced as a "Bangboo Beauty Contest" event, will allow players to customize the outfits of Eous, ZZZ's mascot.

Version 1.4 introduced new S-Rank characters and permanent combat-focused game modes. Version 1.5's addition of a non-combat, dress-up mode follows a pattern of diverse gameplay events seen in previous updates, like the tower defense "Bangboo vs Ethereal" event.

Reliable leaker, Flying Flame, revealed screenshots showcasing various clothing items for Eous. While the dress-up mode will become permanent, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also unlock a long-awaited skin for Nicole Demara.

Beyond the dress-up mode, further leaks hint at a temporary platformer game mode. This aligns with HoYoverse's history of adding non-combat permanent game modes to their other RPG titles, such as Honkai: Star Rail's cocktail-making and Genshin Impact's card game.
