Author : Madison Update : May 14,2025

Drug Dealer Simulator Schedule I continues to captivate players, maintaining its status as one of Steam's most-played games. The game's developer, Tyler, has just released the first significant post-launch update, version 0.3.4, which is currently available for testing on the beta branch. Tyler announced this update on the game’s Steam page, stating that it will remain in beta for a day or two before a full release. Players eager to test the new features can opt into the beta branch right away.

While the beta version doesn't include all the features planned for the full release, Tyler emphasized the urgency of getting this beta out to the community. "This beta doesn't quite contain 100% of the features coming in the full release," Tyler explained. "I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]. I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialed."

Upon its launch, Schedule I became the top-selling game on Steam, outpacing big hitters like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. Its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube has attracted a massive player base. In the game, players start as small-time dope pushers in the gritty city of Hyland Point and can rise to become kingpins, managing the production and distribution of various drugs. Players can expand their empire by acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Schedule I is developed and published by TVGS, an Australian indie developer led by Tyler, who described the game's explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a post on Reddit, Tyler shared, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
