Text-Based MMO 'Dwarfs in Exile' Debuts
Dwarfs in Exile: A New Text-Based Multiplayer Management Game on Android
Dwarfs in Exile, a text-based multiplayer management game from an indie developer, has arrived on Android after a successful run as a browser game. Now exclusively available on the Google Play Store, it offers a unique challenge: managing a banished dwarven settlement.
The Challenge:
Players assume control of a dwarven settlement in the forbidden lands, tasked with keeping their grumpy inhabitants alive and building a thriving community. This involves assigning work, gathering resources, crafting tools, and upgrading the settlement to accommodate more dwarfs. A key strategy involves managing settlement capacity; exceeding it prevents new recruits from joining, even after completing quests.
Each dwarf possesses unique stats (perception, strength, etc.) influencing their job performance. Strategic equipment allocation is crucial for maximizing productivity. The game features a diverse range of occupations (miners, crafters, etc.), and players can assign child dwarfs to mentors for faster stat progression (though children don't work until age 20).
Expanding Your Settlement:
Acquiring new dwarfs involves completing quests and hiring them using in-game coins. Maintaining adequate food supplies is vital to prevent starvation. Upon a dwarf's demise, their equipment returns to the player's inventory.
Dwarfs in Exile offers a rich and engaging management experience. Interested players can download the game from the Google Play Store.
