Dive into the thrilling world of *R.E.P.O.*, the cooperative horror game where teamwork and strategy are key. In *R.E.P.O.*, up to six players band together to navigate through various maps, retrieve valuables, and safely extract them. But, to ensure your progress isn't lost, it's crucial to understand how to save your game. Here’s a detailed guide on how to save your progress in *R.E.P.O.*:

How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.

Experiencing the frustration of losing hours of gameplay due to an unsaved file is a nightmare for any gamer, especially with new releases like *R.E.P.O.*. Unlike some games that offer autosaves or manual save options, *R.E.P.O.* has a unique saving mechanism that you need to master to keep your progress intact.

In *R.E.P.O.*, the key to saving your game is successfully completing the level you're currently on. There is no option for manual saving, which means if you exit the game during a retrieval mission or meet your demise (sending you to the Disposal Arena), your progress won't be saved. Death in *R.E.P.O.* results in the deletion of your save file, and leaving a level prematurely means you'll have to restart from the beginning of that level.

To save your game, you must complete the level and reach the Extraction Point with your valuables. Once there, enter the truck or find your way back to it, and press the message button above your head to signal the Taxman, your AI boss, that it’s time to head to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop and prepare for your next challenge. Use the same button to indicate you’re ready to move on to the next level.

After leaving the Service Station, you'll arrive at your next location. It's at this moment that it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game. When you or the host (if someone else created the original save file) next starts the game, you can jump back into *R.E.P.O.* and continue from where you left off. Remember, if there's a host, they're responsible for exiting at the right time to ensure the game saves correctly for everyone. Once the host quits, all other players will be logged out.

With this knowledge, you're now equipped to save your progress in *R.E.P.O.* effectively. For more tips and strategies, explore our other guides to enhance your gameplay and successfully complete your missions.
