Rivals Update 9 Introduces the Gunblade and Bridge Map as Nosniy Prepares to Add Ranked Mode

Roblox's popular first-person shooter PvP experience, Rivals, receives a fresh injection of content with Update 9. This update introduces the creative Gunblade weapon and a thrilling new map, Bridge, adding excitement to the already intense gameplay.

Developer Nosniy Games highlighted these additions in the patch notes, alongside minor tweaks. While a smaller update than some previous releases, the Gunblade and Bridge map are significant additions designed to keep players engaged.

The Gunblade, a versatile weapon combining a rifle and a blade, is perfectly suited to Rivals' fast-paced combat. Its dual functionality allows for unexpected tactical advantages, particularly in the close-quarters combat of the new Bridge map. Set in Seoul, this concrete arena, created by @GreatGuyBoom, offers limited cover, forcing players into immediate and intense confrontations.

This update prioritizes the new content, foregoing bug fixes, balance adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements for now. Minor skin modifications for the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi, along with renaming some weapons (Hexxed to Vexed), are included. However, Nosniy Games assures players that these elements will be addressed in a future major update, which will also include the highly anticipated Ranked mode.

The developers stated, "We hear all of your feedback and want to reassure you all that every necessary & additional changes/improvements will be made in time for Ranked."

OTHER

• Minor modifications to Demon Shorty & Demon Uzi skins.
• Renamed weapons: Hexxed Flare Gun, Hexxed Candle, and Hexxed wrap are now Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, and Vexed respectively.
