Parallel Experiment’s Steam version faces delay, will now simultaneously release with the Android and iOS versions in June
Eleven Puzzles' cooperative puzzle game, Parallel Experiment, has been delayed. Initially slated for a March Steam release, the game will now launch on June 5th, simultaneously on Steam, Android, and iOS. This unified release ensures cross-play functionality from day one.
The delay allowed the developers to retain all planned features, including optional puzzles and additional mechanics, originally considered for cut to meet the initial deadline. The mobile version, also initially at risk, will now launch alongside the PC version.
In Parallel Experiment, players take on the roles of Ally and Old Dog, detectives trapped in a sinister experiment devised by the Cryptic Killer. Success hinges on collaborative puzzle-solving, encompassing a diverse range of challenges.
Over 80 puzzles await, testing players' skills in deciphering codes, manipulating water systems, hacking computers, and even dealing with an intoxicated individual. The game's noir atmosphere and comic book art style enhance the immersive experience.
Beyond the core puzzle elements, players can engage in retro-style mini-games, including darts, claw machines, and match-three challenges, all designed for cooperative play. Interactive dialogues with dynamic NPC responses add depth to the narrative. Players can even playfully annoy their partners with in-game antics.
Boasting five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous game, Parallel Experiment promises a significantly enhanced cooperative gaming experience. The game launches June 5th. Visit the Steam page for further details.
