"Mecha BREAK to Unlock All Starting Mechs After Player Feedback"

Mech BREAK recently wrapped up its open beta, leaving developers at Amazing Seasun with a wealth of player feedback to consider. One significant piece of feedback centers around the availability of mechs, or "Break Strikers," in the game. With over 300,000 players peaking during the open beta and the game now ranking as the 5th most wishlisted on Steam, the developers are seriously contemplating making all mechs available from the start, free of charge.

During the beta, players started with access to just one Break Striker. Unlocking the other 11 required grinding through numerous multiplayer matches to earn enough in-game currency. This process could be quite time-consuming, leading to suggestions from the community about making all mechs accessible right from the beginning.

Amazing Seasun is currently weighing these suggestions against their planned live service model, which they believe is crucial for the game's long-term success. While no final decisions have been made, the possibility of all mechs being free at launch is being actively considered, particularly for the 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes.
