Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1

Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled exciting new content launching January 10th at 1 AM PST with Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls. This includes the highly anticipated arrival of the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, alongside new maps, a fresh game mode, and a brand-new battle pass.

A recent gameplay trailer showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities. She's classified as a Strategist, utilizing attacks that damage foes while simultaneously healing allies. Her kit also features a knockback for close-range threats, temporary invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a deployable shield to protect teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged enemy attacks.

Mister Fantastic also makes his debut in Season 1, demonstrating a blend of Duelist and Vanguard capabilities with his stretching attacks and increased durability. However, fans will need to be patient for the arrival of Human Torch and The Thing. NetEase Games confirmed that seasons will span approximately three months, with significant mid-season updates (around six to seven weeks post-launch) introducing additional characters.

While the addition of the Fantastic Four is generating considerable excitement, the absence of Blade in Season 1 has been noted by some players. Data miners have uncovered substantial information about Blade within the game's files, fueling speculation about his eventual inclusion. The reveal of Dracula as Season 1's primary antagonist further heightened expectations for Blade's appearance, but he'll unfortunately be absent from this initial launch.
