Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Update 3 Set for Next Week, Will Bring Important Fixes as Well as Nvidia DLSS 4 Support
Next week, Bethesda will release Update 3 for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, as announced. While full patch notes are forthcoming, Bethesda’s initial tweet highlights fixes, improvements, and the addition of Nvidia DLSS 4 support, including Multi-Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
Players eagerly anticipate these updates, hoping to resolve several game-breaking bugs that have plagued Indiana Jones and the Great Circle since its December launch. Bethesda previously stated that February’s update would introduce new graphical features and address issues preventing some players from completing the game (100% completion) and encountering problems with vine climbing or squeezing through walls in Sukhothai. The extent to which these issues are addressed in next week’s patch remains to be seen.
Launched on PC and Xbox Series X|S (and available day one on Game Pass), Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has already reached 4 million players. This MachineGames title has garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards, including three at the D.I.C.E. Awards. A PlayStation 5 release is slated for this spring.
Harrison Ford, the iconic Indiana Jones himself, praised Troy Baker’s performance as Indy in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, stating in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that it demonstrates the unnecessary use of AI to replicate his likeness and performance. Expressing his satisfaction with Baker's portrayal, Ford stated, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
