HandyGames Announces Way of the Hunter: Wild America CBT for Mobile

Get ready for the thrill of the hunt as *Way of the Hunter: Wild America* makes its way to mobile devices, bringing its expansive open-world hunting experience to your fingertips. If you've enjoyed the game on PC, you'll recognize the signature elements that made it popular. Developed by Nine Rocks Games, the game initially hit the market on PC and consoles back in August 2022.

Will You Get Everything in Way of the Hunter Mobile?

While you might notice some graphical adjustments due to the limitations of mobile devices, the essence of the game, including the DLC, is set to be included post-launch. Currently, the mobile version is in its beta phase, with THQ Nordic and HandyGames gearing up for a full release in the near future.

HandyGames has announced a closed beta test via a tweet, and they've provided a form for interested players to sign up. If you're eager to join the beta, head over to their official X account to fill out the form.

Is It the Best Hunting Sim?

*Way of the Hunter* challenges your patience and strategic thinking, allowing you to track animals that exhibit realistic behaviors. The game's expansive open-world settings, inspired by the USA and Europe, offer a vast 55-square-mile area for you to explore.

You'll have access to a range of authentic hunting weapons, from rifles to bows, and can even analyze blood splatter and animal signs to ensure you bag your trophy. Check out the game in action below.

The game's ecosystem dynamically responds to your actions, so reckless shooting can lead to animals relocating. If you scare off too many deer in one area, they'll move to another.

*Way of the Hunter* also features an in-game economy where you can sell meat to purchase better gear, hunting passes, and taxidermy trophies for your lodge. The game includes both a campaign mode and a co-op mode, and on mobile, it will support full controller functionality.
