In the gripping world of Freedom Wars Remastered, players are often found navigating the labyrinthine holding cells and The Warren within the Panopticon. However, the real challenge lies in confronting the towering Abductors. These formidable foes demand that players leverage every available tool to secure victory.

Freedom Wars Remastered equips Sinners with a diverse arsenal of weapons and items, crucial for gaining an advantage in these high-stakes encounters. Among these, the Flare Knife stands out as an essential tool for effectively combating the Abductors. Here's a comprehensive guide on acquiring and utilizing the Flare Knife in Freedom Wars Remastered.

How To Get Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered

Acquiring the Flare Knife is straightforward and can be done early in the game. Once you achieve Level 003 Code Clearance, make your way to Zakka in The Warren. Zakka is your go-to for a variety of combat items, including the Flare Knife, available for 3,000 Entitlement Points.

To equip your newly acquired Flare Knife, navigate to the Loadout menu within the Personal Responsibility Portal. Select an available slot under Combat Items, and if you own a Flare Knife, it will be listed for you to equip before heading into battle.

How To Use Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Flare Knife is described as a reusable combat tool, specifically designed to sever Abductor parts. This feature is particularly advantageous for players who favor Polearms or Heavy Melee weapons, allowing them to sever limbs without switching to Light Melee weapons. Note, however, that each Flare Knife is a one-time-use item, requiring you to purchase another for subsequent Operations.

To effectively use the Flare Knife, target a severable part of the Abductor and use your Thorn to pull yourself toward it. With the Flare Knife equipped in your active slot, you'll be prompted to initiate the severing process. This action leads to a quick-time event (QTE) where you must rapidly press the indicated button to deplete the severing bar. Success here results in the part being severed, but be wary as the Abductor may attempt to interrupt by leaping or crashing into a wall.

For those playing online with friends, continuously snaring the Abductor can simplify the severing process, enhancing your team's effectiveness in battle.
