Final Fantasy XVI PC Launch: September 17th
Yoshi-P's Plea for Responsible Modding
In a recent interview with PC Gamer, Yoshi-P addressed the upcoming PC release of Final Fantasy XVI. While acknowledging the creativity of the modding community, he emphasized the importance of avoiding mods that could be considered offensive or inappropriate. He declined to specify examples, stating that highlighting particular types of mods might inadvertently encourage their creation. The core message was a clear request for respectful and appropriate content.
Yoshi-P's experience with previous Final Fantasy titles likely exposed him to a range of mods, some falling into the "inappropriate" or "offensive" categories. The modding communities for previous games, such as Nexusmods and Steam Workshop, contain a vast array of mods, from graphical enhancements to cosmetic changes. However, the existence of NSFW and other potentially harmful content necessitates this request for responsible modding.
Final Fantasy XVI's PC version boasts improvements such as a 240fps frame rate cap and advanced upscaling technologies. Yoshi-P's request for respectful modding aims to maintain a positive and inclusive experience for all players.
