Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 Restores Compendium

Crashlands 2 has just released a significant update, version 1.1, and Butterscotch Shenanigans, the game's creators, have listened to the community's feedback and brought back some beloved features from the original Crashlands. Let's dive into what's new and exciting in this update!

What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?

For those seeking a challenge, the new Legend Mode offers a heightened level of difficulty. Enemies on Woanope are now faster, deal more damage, and have increased HP, making every encounter a true test of skill. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes is even more fragile than before, adding a strategic layer to gameplay. While there are no additional achievements for completing Legend Mode, you'll automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels as a reward.

On the other end of the spectrum, Explorer Mode caters to players who prefer a more relaxed experience. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing you to focus on farming mushrooms, building a cozy home, and catching fish without the fear of constant attacks. It's the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the story, decorate your base, and interact with Crashlands 2's quirky characters.

One of the most anticipated features making a comeback is The Compendium. The developers took note of player feedback post-launch, and now, The Compendium meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, from the number of pets and recipes to items you need to collect to reach your goals.

Pets also got a bit of an upgrade

In Update 1.1 of Crashlands 2, pets have become more integral to gameplay. They now assist in combat and come equipped with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding a new layer of strategy to battles.

Gear crafting has also seen an overhaul, with random bonus stats now appearing on crafted armor, increasing the variety and excitement of gear customization. Additionally, the update introduces a range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to enhance your gameplay experience.

Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout Update 1.1, enhancing your overall experience. You can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of your home teleporter, and adjust the darkness levels at night to suit your preferences.

Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store and was launched on April 10th. This update showcases Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to player feedback and continuously improving the game.
