Blizzard Unveils New WoW Housing Details

In an exciting development for World of Warcraft enthusiasts, Blizzard has announced the introduction of a housing system slated for 2025 as part of the Midnight expansion. The developers are keen to ensure that this new feature is accessible to all players, promising no complex requirements, exorbitant prices, or lotteries to secure a home. Moreover, players can rest assured that their homes will not be at risk of being taken away due to a lapse in subscription.

Upon the system's full launch, players will have the opportunity to select their plot in one of two designated zones: those aligned with the Alliance can settle in Elwynn Forest, which will feature elements from Westfall and Duskwood, while Horde players can choose Durotar, incorporating elements from Azshara and the Durotar coastline. Each zone will be segmented into districts, hosting approximately 50 houses. Players will have the freedom to choose between settling in open areas or opting for a more secluded private community alongside friends and guildmates.

Blizzard is committed to providing an extensive range of decoration options for home customization. While the majority of these options will be accessible within the game, some exclusive items will be available for purchase in the shop. The developers have outlined three core principles guiding the housing concept: wide customization, fostering social interaction, and ensuring the longevity of the feature. As the launch date approaches, Blizzard plans to release more detailed information about the housing system and encourages the community to share their feedback and ideas.
