Battledom: Exciting New Strategy Game Enters Alpha Testing

Indie game developer Sander Frenken has revealed that his upcoming RTS-lite game, Battledom, is currently undergoing alpha testing. This new title serves as a spiritual successor to Frenken's 2020 hit, Herodom. Developed over approximately two years by the part-time developer, Battledom closely resembles Frenken's initial vision for Herodom.

Battledom offers players a unique blend of RTS mechanics, allowing for free unit movement across the battlefield. Engage enemies from afar by manually targeting and firing siege weapons. Strategic formations are also a key element, adding depth to the gameplay.

Build your army using in-game coins, but be warned: initial units lack armor and possess only basic weaponry. Upgrade your troops by crafting and equipping them with a range of weapons and armor pieces. Each item significantly impacts unit stats, including range, accuracy, defense, and attack power.

Resource gathering is crucial. Collect wood, leather, and coal within your village to craft these essential upgrades at the blacksmith, magician, or other specialized crafters.

Frenken's previous title, Herodom, enjoys a 4.6 App Store rating, showcasing his talent for engaging gameplay. Herodom features over 55 collectible heroes, 150+ units and siege weapons, and historically-inspired battles. Progression unlocks new hairstyles, bodies, crops, and farm animals.
