Dynabytes' Fantasma: A New AR Multiplayer GPS Adventure

Fantasma, a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game from Dynabytes, recently emerged from under the radar, making its debut at Gamescom Latam. This exciting game features a unique gameplay loop involving tracking and battling paranormal entities using portable electromagnetic fields.

The recent update significantly expands the game's reach by adding Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support. Further expansion is planned, with German, Italian, and Spanish language support slated for release in the coming months.

Gameplay involves strategically placing electromagnetic fields (bait) to lure Fantasma creatures to your location. Once engaged, players use their mobile devices to battle these AR entities, aiming and shooting virtual projectiles to deplete their health bars. Victorious battles result in capturing the Fantasma in special bottles.

The Fantasma encounters are location-based, encouraging exploration to discover new creatures. Players can also deploy sensors to expand their detection range and attract Fantasma from further distances. A social element is incorporated through team-up options, allowing players to collaborate and battle together.
