Meet Akuru Hayahoshi, an unlucky otaku office worker who can't seem to pull her husbando from her favorite gacha game, no matter how much she spends. Her luck changes when she encounters the dazzlingly beautiful and incredibly fortunate Ren Furutachi. A series of misunderstandings leads to a surprising proposal, and Ren begins to earnestly pursue Akuru.

One thing leads to another, and in her quest to bring her husbando home, Akuru ends up... bringing Ren home?! Now they're sharing a house, and to the unsuspecting Akuru, this cool, lady-loving girl might as well be an alien!
