Xbox Game Pass: January 2025 Lineup Revealed

Microsoft unveils the exciting Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2 lineup! This substantial update, announced via Xbox Wire, precedes Microsoft's January 23rd Xbox Developer Direct, where several day-one Game Pass titles will be showcased, including Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a yet-to-be-revealed fourth game.

The January 2025 Wave 2 kicks off January 21st with the day-one release of Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Master the slopes solo or compete with up to eight players in thrilling cross-platform multiplayer.

January 22nd brings a flurry of additions: Flock (Console) joins Game Pass Standard, offering cooperative multiplayer flight and creature collection. Gigantic: Rampage Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) arrives on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard, delivering a dynamic 5v5 MOBA hero shooter experience. Also launching on January 22nd are Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (Console), a single-player Japanese-inspired action strategy game, Magical Delicacy (Console), Tchia (Xbox Series X|S), and The Case of the Golden Idol (Console), all joining Game Pass Standard. Finally, Starbound (Cloud and Console) expands its Game Pass presence to Ultimate and Standard, having already debuted on PC Game Pass.

The wave continues on January 28th with the day-one releases of Eternal Strands (Cloud, Console, and PC) and Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S), both available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Eternal Strands offers a third-person action-adventure experience from industry veterans, while Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap delivers intense, cooperative tower defense gameplay.

Shady Part of Me (Cloud, Console, and PC) joins Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard on January 29th, presenting a poignant journey through surreal dreamscapes. Another day-one title, Sniper Elite: Resistance (Cloud, Console, and PC), launches on January 30th for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, offering thrilling sniping action in occupied France.

Rounding out the month, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) arrives as a day-one release on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on January 31st, promising a compelling dice-driven RPG experience.
