Square Enix Announces The EOS Of Romancing SaGa Re:universe

Romancing SaGa Re:universe's global server is closing on December 2nd, 2024. While the Japanese version continues, this marks the end of the line for the global release after a four-year run.

The game's shutdown is imminent. In-app purchases, including paid jewels and Google Play Points exchanges, have already ceased following the September 29th, 2024 maintenance.

Launched in June 2020, the global version garnered mixed reception despite its strong visuals, audio, and generous gacha system. Unlike its successful Japanese counterpart, the global version lacked significant content updates like Solistia and 6-star units, a year-long absence that disappointed many players.
