Solar Opposites to Conclude with Season 6

Fans of the animated series Solar Opposites will need to brace themselves for the end, as Hulu has officially announced that the upcoming sixth season will mark the conclusion of the show. Set to premiere sometime in the last quarter of 2025, this final season promises to wrap up the adventures of the alien family who found themselves stranded on Earth.

The renewal for Season 6 was announced in mid-2024, but at that time, there was no indication that it would be the last. Created by Mike McMahan, known for Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Justin Roiland, co-creator of Rick & Morty, Solar Opposites debuted in 2020. The series follows the humorous escapades of an alien family navigating life on our planet after fleeing their own destroyed world.

In 2023, the show faced a significant change when Justin Roiland was removed following charges of domestic violence. Although these charges were later dropped, Roiland did not return to the series. English actor Dan Stevens stepped in successfully as the new lead voice actor, continuing the show's journey towards its final season.
