Fans der Animationsserie Solar Oppositionen müssen sich auf das Ende einstellen, da Hulu offiziell angekündigt hat, dass die kommende sechste Staffel den Abschluss der Show markieren wird. Diese letzte Saison wird im letzten Quartal 2025 eine Premiere haben und verspricht, die Abenteuer der außerirdischen Familie abzuschließen, die auf der Erde gestrandet waren.

Die Erneuerung für die 6. Staffel wurde Mitte 2024 angekündigt, aber zu dieser Zeit gab es keinen Hinweis darauf, dass es das letzte sein würde. Erstellt von Mike McMahan, bekannt für Star Trek: Lower Decks , und Justin Roiland, Mitschöpfer von Rick & Morty , debütierte im Jahr 2020. Die Serie folgt den humorvollen Eskapaden einer fremden Familie, die das Leben auf unserem Planeten auf unserem Planeten navigierte, nachdem er ihre eigene zerstörte Welt geflohen ist.

Im Jahr 2023 wurde die Show vor einer signifikanten Veränderung ausgesetzt, als Justin Roiland nach Anklage wegen häuslicher Gewalt entfernt wurde. Obwohl diese Anklagen später fallen gelassen wurden, kehrte Roiland nicht in die Serie zurück.
