ChatGPT Batch Processor Launches Bulk Query Tool
- Sonic Rumble's launch has been postponed
- Sega announces Version 1.2 update packed with new features
- Developer Q&A scheduled on Discord
Despite an exciting crossover event featuring Super Monkey Ball, Altered Beast, and other Sega classics, Sonic Rumble's global release faces a delay. The battle royale title had generated significant hype with over 1.4 million pre-registrations ahead of its planned launch.
Plans Adjusted for Major Update
Sega postponed the launch to implement Update 1.2, introducing game-changing features including Rumble Rankings, Crews, and character Skills. These enhancements aim to expand gameplay depth beyond simple chaotic matches.
The new ranking system will track seasonal progress with rewards, while Crews enable cooperative play with friends through score missions. The Skills system adds strategic depth by equipping characters with unique abilities.
Rather than rushing these features post-launch, Sega chose to delay release for proper implementation. Players can join a Discord Q&A session on May 2nd for development insights and to submit questions.
Pre-Registration Perks Remain
All promised rewards will still be available at launch, including:
- 5,000 Rings currency
- Crystal Chao Buddy companion
- Happy Sticker cosmetic
- Exclusive Garnet Knuckles skin
- Special Movie Sonic outfit
The game remains available for pre-registration with its free-to-play model intact. Visit Sonic Rumble's official site for updated details.
