Second Sea Rod Enchantment and Overview

Great Dreamer Rod

The Great Dreamer Rod is a top-tier choice for fishing in Fisch, with an impressive 65% lure speed and well-balanced stats. Its standout feature is a 1% chance to summon Cthulhu, who will snatch a fish with the guaranteed Cursed Touch mutation. While exciting, this effect's rarity makes the rod less reliable for E$ farming. For more consistent results, consider the Free Spirit Rod.

To optimize your fishing, Hasty or Steady enchantments can increase your fishing speed, while Lucky or Divine enchantments can enhance the rod’s luck stat.

Free Spirit Rod

The Free Spirit Rod is ideal for late-game players, offering a massive 150% luck boost and excellent control. Its Skeletal Flowering passive has a 20% chance to trigger, showering your catch with the valuable Bloom mutation. Additionally, it features the “stab” ability, speeding up minigame progress by about 6%.

Despite its average lure speed, adding Hasty or Swift enchantments can help you catch fish faster, maximizing the use of its powerful passive.

Verdant Shear Rod

The Verdant Shear Rod is a versatile powerhouse with a 150% luck stat and excellent control. Its unique ability has a 10% chance to grow a tree during the daytime, lasting 1 minute. While active, any fish caught has a 10% chance to gain Mother Nature, Green Leaf, or Brown Wood mutations.

To maximize this ability, use Sundial Totems to extend daytime. Hasty or Swift enchantments can help you catch more fish while the passive is active.

Azure of Lagoon Rod

For those targeting massive fish, the Azure of Lagoon Rod is ideal, with an incredible 100,000kg max weight and 55% resilience. It also features the “stab” passive, advancing minigame progress by about 6%.

Its negative control can be challenging, but Controlled enchantments can improve accuracy. Hasty or Swift enchantments can boost its mediocre lure speed for a smoother experience.

Blazebringer Rod

The Blazebringer Rod excels with its combo-based passive. After 10 consecutive perfect catches, the rod’s bar glows red, granting +10% luck and a chance for Ember (15%) and Cracked (10%) mutations. At 35 perfect catches, the bar erupts in flames, boosting luck to +25%, guaranteeing Ember mutations (100%), and offering a 5% chance for Emberflame mutation.

Missing a perfect catch resets progress, so Resilient or Controlled enchantments are crucial.

Frog Rod

The Frog Rod is excellent, with a 100% luck stat and a luck-boosting passive. Every perfect catch has a chance to spawn a frog, increasing luck by +0.5x for 2 minutes. Up to 3 frogs can be active, stacking for a +1.5x luck boost, resulting in a 2.5x overall luck multiplier.

Its low lure speed and resilience can be challenging, so Resilient or Controlled enchantments are essential. Hasty or Swift enchantments can counter the slow lure speed.

Firefly Rod

The Firefly Rod is the fastest in the Second Sea, with an unmatched 75% lure speed. However, it has negative control, zero resilience, and a low max weight, making it less suitable for larger or rarer fish.

It's ideal for quickly farming common, lightweight fish. Lucky or Divine enchantments can boost its luck, while Resilient or Controlled enchantments can mitigate the negative control.

Wildflower Rod

As an early Second Sea rod, the Wildflower Rod offers good resilience and control compared to other Stage 1 rods. Its higher max weight (700kg) makes it suitable for heavier fish.

If you have a strong First Sea rod, it may still outperform this one. Hasty or Swift enchantments can enhance its efficiency.

Adventurer’s Rod

The Adventurer’s Rod is akin to the Flimsy Rod but with low stats, making it a temporary option. If you have a better First Sea rod, stick with that until you can upgrade.

Its low max weight might help with specific rare fish, but it's not worth investing in enchantments. Save your resources for a more capable rod.

How to Enchant Second Sea Rods in Fisch

Enchantment location in Fisch

Location of the Enchantment Area in Fisch

To enchant your rod in Fisch, navigate to the cave beneath the Statue of Sovereignty (First Sea) and obtain an Enchant Relic. The small island is accessible by boat from the starting island. Sail slightly to the right from the pier to reach the Statue of Sovereignty. Pay 400 E$ to a guard for a special token to use the lift, which leads to the cave with the altar for enchanting your rod.

Using the Enchant Relic at the altar will randomly apply an Enchantment to your rod. You may need to repeat the process to get the desired enchantment.
