Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, Sequel to Oceanhorn 2, Revealed

FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros. are excited to announce their latest project, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon. Set 200 years after the events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm, this new entry brings a fresh twist to the beloved series, scheduled to release on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam during Q2 2025.

What’s the Story in Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon?

This time, adventure takes a dive below sea level as players explore the perilous depths of a mysterious underground labyrinth. The game shifts focus from sailing the high seas to navigating a retro-style dungeon crawler.

In the world of Gaia, the once-mighty Kingdom of Arcadia has crumbled into scattered islands, while the famed White City exists only in memory. Undeterred by the bleakness, four intrepid adventurers aim to conquer the enigmatic Chronos Dungeon. This ancient underground complex is rumored to house the powerful Paradigm Hourglass, an artifact capable of rewriting history itself. If they can endure the trials within, they may restore Gaia to its former splendor.

What About the Features?

Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon embraces a classic dungeon crawler formula with a distinct 16-bit aesthetic and nostalgic charm. Designed for couch co-op, the game supports up to four players working together for thrilling side-by-side gameplay. If you’re flying solo, you can control all four heroes or switch between them mid-adventure to suit the challenge at hand.

Each hero begins with unique stats determined by their zodiac sign, ensuring no two playthroughs are alike. The four playable characters include the Knight, Huntress, Grandmaster, and Mage.

With its retro pixel art visuals, chiptune-inspired soundtrack, and classic arcade elements, the game captures the essence of nostalgia while delivering modern gameplay.
