For fans eagerly awaiting their next adventure, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is just around the corner, scheduled to launch in June 2025. The highly anticipated sequel has been generating buzz, especially since its star, Norman Reedus, dropped hints about both the game and its potential film adaptation during a recent interview with IGN.

When asked whether he’d be open to reprising his role in a movie adaptation—announced last month to be spearheaded by director Michael Sarnoski and production company A24—Reedus responded enthusiastically: “If it was an option, yeah, for sure.” He added, “I don’t know what’s happening with it. It’s so pre pre pre right now. But yeah, of course.”

Reedus also shared insights into his experience working on the first Death Stranding, revealing that while he initially found the narrative complex, he now feels more confident navigating its intricacies. “Story-wise, I did know what was happening more,” he noted. “There’s more action in it, there’s more of a definite goal to get to.” Despite the challenges, Reedus expressed excitement about collaborating with creator Hideo Kojima, praising the visionary director’s innovative ideas.

“It’s always a trip working on those things,” Reedus remarked. “It’s great, but it’s wild.” Fans can look forward to diving deeper into the enigmatic world of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach when it releases on June 26, 2025.
