"Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Start April 24 in U.S., Priced at $449"

Nintendo has officially announced that pre-orders for the highly anticipated Switch 2 will kick off in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The console will maintain its original launch price of $449.99 and is set to hit the shelves on June 5, 2025. This news was shared directly on Nintendo's official website, where they also mentioned that the prices for Switch 2 accessories might see adjustments due to shifting market conditions. Nintendo further noted that future price changes for any of their products could be on the horizon, depending on how the market evolves.

In addition to the standard console, Nintendo confirmed that the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will stay priced at $499.99. The pricing for both the physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World at $79.99 and Donkey Kong Bananza at $69.99 will remain unchanged at launch.
