Switch 2 Release Date Revealed by Nintendo

The release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 is finally set: it's coming on June 5, 2025.

The starting price for the Nintendo Switch 2 has also been revealed at $449.99.

The Nintendo Switch 2 package includes:

Nintendo Switch 2 console
Joy-Con 2 controllers (L+R)
Joy-Con 2 Grip
Joy-Con 2 Straps
Nintendo Switch 2 Dock
Ultra High-Speed HDMI Cable
Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter
USB-C Charging Cable

The Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle is priced at $499.99 in the United States. This bundle includes the console and a digital copy of Mario Kart World, which will be available on the launch day, June 5.

Mario Kart World is priced separately at $79.99, representing a $10 increase compared to Nintendo's most expensive Switch title to date.

“Nintendo Switch 2 marks the next evolution in home console gaming that you can take anywhere, building on eight years of insight and play patterns established by the original Nintendo Switch,” said Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa.
