If you're a fan of the Hellraiser film series and appreciate a touch of ironic naming, you'll be thrilled to learn that Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge has introduced a new faction: the Emperor's Children. This Slaanesh-heavy faction promises to bring a unique experience with three new Warlords and a suite of innovative mechanics designed to inflict suffering on your opponents.

Originally a loyalist Space Marine legion, the Emperor's Children turned renegade during the Horus Heresy, now pledging allegiance solely to the chaos god Slaanesh and their own desires. They've fragmented into warbands that roam the galaxy in search of new sensations and stimulations, embodying the pinnacle of egotism and arrogance.

You'll have the choice of three distinct Warlords to lead your forces. Lord Kaphrael, head of the Callous Blades, specializes in eliminating enemy champions. Xarahan, on the other hand, perfectly encapsulates the faction's arrogance and self-absorption. And for those who crave spectacle, Lucius the Eternal, known for his millennia-honed swordsmanship, will be at your disposal.

The Emperor's Children introduce some unsettling new mechanics that reflect their pursuit of sensation. Units with the Ecstasy keyword gain effects when their health drops to specific levels. Cards marked with Cruelty benefit from damaging, but not destroying, enemy units. The Stimulation keyword activates abilities when a unit is targeted by stratagems. Lastly, Combat Elixirs allow certain cards to generate additional stratagems, enhancing their abilities and impact on the battlefield.

These new additions are available now in booster packs and DLC, giving you the tools to torment your foes with the Emperor's Children's unique abilities and units.
