Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, dubbed Sandlord, is now live and marks the game's most expansive season to date. This season introduces a myriad of new features that significantly alter the gameplay dynamics, allowing players to construct a floating empire amidst the skies.

What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?

The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that players will manage. Here, you'll gather resources from the Netherrealm and transform them into tangible benefits by assigning workers to one of five distinct professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, blending the traditional ARPG combat with a strategy simulation element.

The character Thea has undergone a significant transformation, evolving from a divine channeler into the Blasphemer. She now inflicts desecration rather than blessings, applying Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.

The Deep Space region has been revamped, introducing five new stages teeming with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been added, functioning similarly to Compasses but occupying a unique slot. These Probes enhance both the rewards and the difficulty of your adventures.

The endgame content has been enriched with new Legendary Stages. These rare stages offer unique loot setups, prompting players to adapt their strategies. Certain zones, like the Abyssal Vault, deviate from the norm by featuring no enemies, only an abundance of Mystery Chests ripe for the taking.

Conversely, the Sea of Rites introduces a non-aggressive goblin swarm. Defeating these goblins can potentially summon a secret boss. The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both players and bosses to transform enemies into treasure with precise hits.
