Dark Souls 3 Now Features Seamless Co-op for Up to Six Players
If you've always found Dark Souls 3 too challenging to tackle alone, now you can conquer it with friends. Yesterday, modder Yui released an exciting new modification that adds full co-op support for up to six players. This community-driven project, akin to the fan-made co-op mod for Elden Ring, brings cooperative gameplay to an earlier FromSoftware title.
Currently in alpha testing, the mod already enables players to complete the entire game from start to finish. It supports all multiplayer features, including invasions, and operates independently of official servers, ensuring there's no risk of being banned.
The optimized connection system ensures that co-op partners can join hosts from anywhere in the world, and rejoining after disconnecting is quick and seamless. The Seamless Co-op mod removes all multiplayer limitations present in the original Dark Souls 3, enabling unrestricted playthroughs from the tutorial to the final boss. Additionally, enemy scaling can be adjusted to keep the difficulty balanced and enjoyable, making the journey through the game a more collaborative and tailored experience.
