Studio Wildcard has shared an ambitious update schedule for ARK: Survival Ascended, detailing planned content until late 2026. The enhanced remake of ARK: Survival Evolved, currently in early access since November 2023, continues to receive regular expansions.

The roadmap highlights a major technical milestone coming in March 2025 - the transition to Unreal Engine 5. This update will restore previously removed Nvidia frame generation support while optimizing overall game performance. Importantly, this upgrade will enable modular DLC installations, allowing players to selectively download map packs.

Major Content Releases Coming to ARK Survival Ascended (2025-2026)

The content pipeline includes both premium and free expansions, beginning with April 2025's free Ragnarok Ascended map alongside a new Bison creature. Summer 2025 brings a premium map expansion (currently undisclosed), followed by August's Valguero Ascended map release featuring a community-chosen creature.

2026 focuses on remastering legacy content, starting with the two-part Genesis expansion rollout (April and August) alongside narrative-driven Bob's True Tales content. The year concludes with December's Fjordur Ascended update. Three additional Fantastic Tames will debut throughout 2026, suggesting Studio Wildcard plans more surprises beyond this outlined schedule.
