ARK Survival Ascended、2026年にわたる拡張開発ロードマップを公開

新たに公開されたロードマップは、約2年にわたるコンテンツアップデートの概要を示している
Survival AscendedのUE5アップグレードが最初に実施され、大幅なパフォーマンス改善が見込まれる
有料及び無料のマップ拡張と生物追加が複数計画されている

Studio Wildcardは、ARK: Survival Ascendedに向けて2026年末まで計画されたコンコンテンンツを詳細に記した意欲的なアップデート計画を公開しました。2023年11月よりアーリーアクセス中であるARK: Survival Evolvedの強化リメイク版は、定期的な拡張コンコンテンンツの提供を継続しています。

このロードマップは、2025年3月に予定されている主要な技術的マイルストーン、すなわちUnreal Engine 5への移行を強調しています。このアップデートにより、以前削除されていたNvidiaのフレーム生成サポートが復活し、ゲーム全体のパフォーマンスが最適化されます。重要な点として、このアップグレードによりモジュラー式のDLCインストールが可能となり、プレイヤーはマップパックを選択的にダウンロードできるようになります。

コンコンテンンツパイプラインには有料及び無料の拡張が含まれており、2025年4月の無料「Ragnarok Ascended」マップと新生物バイソンから始まります。2025年夏には（現時点で詳細未公表の）有料マップ拡張がリリースされ、その後8月にはコミュニティが選んだ生物を特徴とする「Valguero Ascended」マップが続きます。

2026年は過去コンコンテンンツのリマスターに焦点が当てられ、4月と8月に分割して展開される「Genesis」拡張と、物語性の高い「Bob's True Tales」コンテンツから始まります。同年は12月の「Fjordur Ascended」アップデートで締めくくられます。さらに、「Fantastic Tame」が2026年中にあと3種追加される予定であり、Studio Wildcardがこのロードマップ以上のサプライズを計画していることが示唆されています。
