Dell unveiled the new Alienware Area-51 gaming PC at CES 2025. The chassis design is similar to the 2024 R16 model but features aesthetic and cooling redesigns along with updated components. The side panel vents have been replaced with air intakes at the bottom and front of the case, promoting a positive airflow design for a cleaner interior. Internally, the system boasts a new motherboard, faster RAM, and a more powerful power supply to support the latest generation of CPUs and GPUs.

The GeForce RTX 5080 GPU will run any game in 4K

The RTX 5080 is the second most powerful Blackwell graphics card, only outdone by the RTX 5090, which retails for $2,000. It offers a performance increase of about 5%-10% over the discontinued RTX 4080 Super. The performance gap widens in games that leverage the new DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation, a feature exclusive to Blackwell cards.
