Si bien el concepto se consideró "maravilloso", Price citó el tiempo y la oportunidad de mercado como factores que impiden su desarrollo.

Expresó el fuerte deseo del equipo de continuar la historia de resistencia, destacando el entorno de historia alternativa único de la serie y el potencial sin explotar de los orígenes de la quimera y las narrativas futuras.

La serie de resistencia, una trilogía de tiradores en primera persona, fue desarrollada por Insomniac Games para PlayStation 3. Los juegos representan una alternativa de 1951 donde los extraterrestres invaden el Reino Unido.
