Insomniac Games -Gründer und pensionierter Präsident Ted Price zeigte kürzlich in einem Interview mit lustigen Spielen, dass ein Pitch 4 -Pitch 4 leider nie genehmigt wurde. Während das Konzept als "wunderbar" eingestuft wurde, zitierte der Preis von Price Timing und Marktchancen als Faktoren, die seine Entwicklung verhindern.

Er drückte den starken Wunsch des Teams aus, die Widerstandsgeschichte fortzusetzen und die einzigartige alternative Geschichte der Serie und das unerschlossene Potenzial der Ursprünge und zukünftigen Erzählungen der Chimera hervorzuheben.

Die Widerstandsserie, eine Trilogie von Schützen aus der ersten Person, wurde von Insomniac Games für die PlayStation 3 entwickelt. Die Spiele zeigen eine alternative 1951, in der Aliens in Großbritannien eindringen. Nach der Resistenztrilogie verlagerte Insomniac den Fokus auf Projekte wie das Spider-Man-Franchise-Franchise von Marvel und neue Ratchet & Clank-Raten.

Die Pensionierung von Price von Insomniac Games nach einer 30-jährigen Amtszeit wurde Anfang dieses Jahres angekündigt.
