Rocksteady Studios, der Schöpfer von Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, kündigte Ende 2024 weitere Entlassungen an, die sich auf Programmierer, Künstler und Tester auswirken würden. Dies folgt auf die Entlassungen im September, die die Größe des Testteams halbierten.

Dieser Stellenabbau ist eine direkte Folge der schlechten Resonanz des Spiels und der erheblichen finanziellen Verluste – die von Warner Bros. auf 200 Millionen US-Dollar geschätzt werden. Das Studio bestätigte im Dezember, dass keine Updates für 2025 geplant sind, die Server jedoch weiterhin aktiv bleiben.
