Capcom gab am 4. Juli über Twitter (X) bekannt, dass das neue Mobile-Spiel „Resident Evil Survival Unit“ von Aniplex Inc. und JOYCITY gemeinsam entwickelt wird. Das Überlebens-Horror-Strategiespiel für iOS und Android bietet eine frische Perspektive auf die Reihe.

Laut Capcom wird das Spiel ein authentisches Echtzeit-Strategie-Erlebnis bieten und dabei den Überlebens-Horror-Wurzeln von Resident Evil treu bleiben. Das Spiel wird weltweit in Japan, Südkorea, Nordamerika, Europa und Asien erscheinen.
