Rules of the Game Svara (Svarka)

Svara (Svarka) is an engaging card game that utilizes a deck of 32 cards, ranging from 7 to Ace. It can be played with a minimum of two players, and offers a total of 4960 possible combinations.

Rules

Each player receives three cards dealt in a clockwise direction. The objective is to achieve the highest score, determined by the following scoring rules:

1. Cards 7 to 9: Each card scores points equal to its face value, i.e., 7 to 9 points respectively.
2. Cards 10, J, Q, K: Each of these cards scores 10 points.
3. Aces: Each Ace scores 11 points.
4. Same Suit Combinations: Cards of the same suit sum their points. For example, Q♦, K♦, 10♠ total 20 points, while 10♠, 8♠, K♥ total 18 points.
5. Aces: Can be combined regardless of suit. Two Aces score 22 points, and three Aces score 33 points.
6. 7♣ (Ceco Jonchev, Chechak, Chotora, Shpoka, or Yoncho): This card can be combined with any other card for 11 points.
7. Three 7s: This combination scores 34 points and is the strongest hand in the game.
8. Three of a Kind: The points for three of a kind are calculated by multiplying the face value of the card by three. For example, three 8s (3x8) score 24 points, while three Queens (3x10) score 30 points.

• 7♥, 9♦, 9♣ total 9 points (the lowest scoring hand).
• 10♠, 10♦, 10♣ total 30 points.
• 8♣, K♥, 9♦ total 10 points.
• K♥, 9♥, Q♣ total 19 points.
• Q♣, Q♥, 9♦ total 10 points.
• A♠, A♦, 10♣ total 22 points.
• 8♠, A♦, 7♣ total 22 points.
• 10♦, 9♦, J♦ total 29 points.
• Q♣, Q♥, Q♦ total 30 points.
• 7♣, K♥, K♦ total 31 points.
• 7♣, A♥, A♦ total 33 points.
• Two 7s, regardless of suit, total 23 points.

Betting

1. Ante: Before the cards are dealt, each player places an initial bet known as the ante.
2. Blind Bet: The player to the left of the dealer may place a blind bet before seeing their cards.
3. Doubling the Blind Bet: The next player to the left can choose to double the blind bet.
4. Skipping the Blind Bet: If a player skips the blind bet, the next player cannot start a new blind bet. (Blind bets are optional.)
5. Post-Deal Betting: After the cards are dealt, players place their bets.
6. Doubling a Blind Bet: If there is a blind bet, the next player must at least double it.
7. Viewing Opponents' Cards: A player who placed a blind bet can view other players' cards by paying the bet.
8. Uncontested Blind Bet: If no one pays the blind bet, the player who placed the last blind bet wins.
9. Winning the Game: The player with the highest score wins.
10. Dealer Wins: If there are no blind bets and no other bets, the dealer wins.
11. SVARA: If two or more players tie for the highest score, a new game called SVARA is initiated.
12. SVARA Rules: SVARA includes all bets from the previous game.
13. Joining SVARA: Any player can join SVARA by paying the SVARA join amount.
