All U10m flag vessels are required to document their catch. This data is crucial for UK fishing authorities to effectively manage and sustain fishing levels across UK waters.

You can utilize this service if you fall into one of the following categories:

• Registered vessel owner
• Skipper

If you are a registered vessel owner, you will receive an invitation email. The timing of this email depends on your vessel's size, and you have one calendar month from receipt to register and begin using the service.

If you are a skipper, please reach out to the vessel owner to request an invitation.

Please note, if you are a member of a producer organisation and lease quota, you should refrain from using this online service. Instead, continue to record your catch using a traditional paper logbook.

This innovative service effectively replaces the following:

• The NEP1 form
• The MSAR1 form, although depending on your location, local Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) may require additional information
• The requirement to complete a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in two ICES areas (currently IVc/VIId and VIId/VIIe)
