New Xbox Game Pass Game Confirmed for January 21

Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: A Snowy Start and a Stellar Finish

Xbox Game Pass is bolstering its January 2025 offerings with a strong second half, following a relatively quiet start to the month. The highlight? Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, launching on January 21st as a day-one title for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. This exciting skiing game offers both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.

The initial wave of January 2025 Game Pass additions saw several Ultimate-exclusive titles transition to the Standard tier, with only Diablo (PC Game Pass) and EA Sports UFC 5 (Ultimate) standing out as significant new additions.

However, the second half of January more than compensates. In addition to Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, three other day-one games are joining the Ultimate tier:

• Eternal Strands: (January 28th) An action-adventure game with strong Zelda influences, developed by Yellow Brick Games and led by BioWare veteran Mike Laidlaw.
• Sniper Elite: Resistance: (January 30th)
• Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector: (January 31st)

This influx of new titles makes January 2025 a compelling month for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. While February 2025 currently appears less robust (with only Avowed confirmed for February 18th, for Ultimate subscribers), the January lineup provides plenty to keep players engaged.
