Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

Restoring Morph Paintings involves locating the correct paintings and placing them on the corresponding pedestals. Start by reading the descriptions on the pedestals to identify the matching portrait. Once identified, use your Levitator utility to position the painting correctly. The game typically auto-switches to the Levitator, but if it doesn't, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab/D-Pad Left.

Currently, there are two such paintings in the game, linked to the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old quests.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

As part of the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, players will explore all three towers in Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower houses a Morph Painting puzzle. To solve it, use the large painting in the middle as a reference point and follow these steps:

• Swap the paintings in the front-left and back-right positions.
• Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left position.
• Position the painting behind the chairs on the right at the front-right.

Upon successfully completing the puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the quest.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

The Trials of Old quest requires completing four different trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. Within the Trial of Wisdom, players will encounter another Morph Painting puzzle. The objective is to arrange the paintings on the pedestals to narrate a story from left to right. Refer to the image above for the solution.

A handy tip for verifying correct placement is to watch for the painting frame lighting up after insertion. This visual cue can simplify the puzzle-solving process.
