WoW Announces Exciting Update for Anniversary Currency Holdouts

World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch's release.

The 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, allowed players to acquire Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing various items, including revamped Tier 2 sets. Any remaining tokens will now be converted to prevent them from becoming obsolete. Blizzard confirmed these tokens will not be used in future events.

This automatic conversion ensures players don't retain useless currency. While Patch 11.1 lacks an official release date, February 25th is a strong contender, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule and following the conclusion of the Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events. This timing means the conversion will likely occur after the current Turbulent Timeways event ends.

Timewarped Badges, obtained through this conversion, remain valuable for future Timewalking events, ensuring players' efforts aren't wasted. Players are advised to log in after Patch 11.1's launch to claim their Timewarped Badges.
