Warzone Glitch: Equip Old Camos on Black Ops 6 Guns

Summary

  • A new glitch in Warzone allows players to apply MW3 camos to BO6 weapons.
  • The glitch requires a friend's help and specific steps in a private match.
  • This unofficial method may be patched in future updates.

A Call of Duty: Warzone player has discovered an intriguing glitch that enables the use of camos from 2023's Modern Warfare 3 on Black Ops 6 weapons. This feature, which many players feel should be standard, allows those who have earned camos in MW3 to continue using them in Warzone, even as the meta shifts towards Black Ops 6 weapons.

In Black Ops 6, players are once again grinding for epic mastery camos, which can be earned through in-game challenges without additional purchases. These challenges involve achieving one hundred headshots on various weapons and progressing through gold, diamond, and dark spine camos to finally unlock the coveted dark matter camo. However, for players who have already unlocked these camos in Modern Warfare 3, they have been largely unusable in Warzone since the launch of Black Ops 6. This new glitch offers a solution.

Call of Duty: Warzone Player Discovers New Camo Glitch

For those who have earned the many weapon camos in Modern Warfare 3, a new glitch provides a way to equip them on Black Ops 6 weapons within Warzone. This method, shared by Twitter user BSPGamin and spotted by Dexerto, is not officially supported and may be patched by developers Treyarch Studios and Raven Software in future updates.

The glitch requires assistance from a friend and involves several steps in a private match. First, boot up a private match in Warzone and equip a Black Ops 6 weapon in the first loadout slot, then join a friend's lobby. Next, equip a Modern Warfare 3 weapon in the first loadout slot and repeatedly select the desired camo. While doing this, the host must switch to a private match. The friend then needs to exit the private match, and the player must return to the weapon and repeatedly select the camo while the friend re-enters a private match. Once these steps are completed, the camo should be available on the Black Ops 6 weapon.

For players still working on unlocking Black Ops 6 mastery camos, Treyarch has confirmed plans to introduce a new challenge tracking feature in a future update. This feature, last seen in Modern Warfare 3, was notably absent in Black Ops 6, but its return will aid players in tracking their progress towards unlocking these coveted camos.
